Recruitment/Registration Day this Saturday

We would like to invite you and your child to our new member recruitment day in the
Iveagh Grounds on Saturday 9th March at 11.00am. This will give your child an opportunityto try Gaelic football as one of their chosen sports. We welcome both experienced players and beginners. We provide a comprehensive and fun training programme for new players.

St. James Gaels Football Club is based in both the Iveagh Grounds on Crumlin Road and
the playing pitches of Drimnagh Castle Secondary School. As a club we are dedicated to
providing Gaelic football opportunities to both children and adults. We strongly believe
in helping our children and young adults to develop their . tness and good health both
physically and mentally through the medium of Gaelic Football. . e club is also committed
to do this in a safe and friendly environment. We believe in promoting an atmosphere of friendship and loyalty through club membership.

St. James Gaels is a voluntary organisation within the Gaelic Athletic Association. All
our mentors are vetted for working with juveniles and o. er their time free of charge. We
provide teams for all ages, both boys and girls. A lot of our adult players have been with
the club since childhood and played through the various age groups. . is has helped our
members make life time friends through their club involvement. As well as football there
are also other club activities, fun day in May, Summer Camp, trips to Croke Park to watch the Dublin teams, Halloween Disco and Christmas party etc.
